A Happy Farewell 🙏

A happy, but also sad day today, as we said our final goodbyes to Somdech.. we spent the morning sailing around the Andaman Sea on his newly restored longtail boat, he is so happy and eternally thankful to everyone that has helped him get his livelihood back, by donating to our project.
As you will see from the photos, your donations have transformed the boat with, 50% new timbers to the boats hull, new seating, deck and canopy, navigation lighting, upholstered seat cushions, ropes, garlands and the final paint finish, not to forget the thing that drives the boat, which is a full new longtail engine, including prop, gearing and steering wheel, kindly donated by Blackpool Windmill Youth Group.
Somdech has just brought us back to the mainland as we soon slowly begin to make our way to Bangkok.
So both myself and Gabs, and on behalf of Somdech and all his family, we would like to say thank you very much for your kind generosity, you have all made this family very happy🙏😊
