On the 9th of July 2018, we set off on our World Cycling Tour
Starting from the Nightingale Centre, which is home to the amazing charity
‘Prevent Breast Cancer’ Our epic journey takes us through 67 countries across
the 7 continents and we will cycle more than 100,000 km over the next 7 years!
There will be no “planes trains or automobiles” just us with our bikes and kit, so when we need to cross the oceans, this will be by boat, so no, I’m afraid it won’t be luxury cruise ships, instead…cargo ships!
Many of the areas we will cycle won’t have roads, and some mountain passes are almost impassable, even harder given the fact that our bikes weigh 60kg and 95kg when fully loaded with kit!

SO YOU ASK, WHY PREVENT BREAST CANCER?
Gabriella, affectionately known as Gabs, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2017. After finishing her chemotherapy in August 2017, she has channelled all her headstrong determination into making breast cancer a thing of the past for future generations.
Together with her fiancé Chris, they will be pushing themselves to the limit with the aim to raise over £100,000 for Prevent Breast Cancer. They started this massive challenge only a few weeks after Gabs had her final Herceptin Injection to finish her treatment!
They are 100% self-funding the tour, meaning that all donations and sponsorship go directly to the charity. Chris and Gabs have already contacted various television and radio stations across the world and are determined to let their presence be known in every country they visit.
To reach their target, these intrepid explorers are looking to find at least 238 amazing supporters a year who will pledge to gift £5.00 each month.
