Below are a few of our previous cycling tours, road races and fundraising events that we have completed over the years, some of which we organised ourselves, each one has raised funds and helped make a difference to someones life.
Chris & Gabs Tour of Europe – 5000km Tour – July 2016.
Route: England – Belgium – France – Spain
Fundraising for a local charity.
On this tour we cycled from the North West of England (Thistleton, Preston) heading south through London, we then took the ferry from Dover over to Calais and cycled through Belgium, then straight down the middle of France via Paris to the coastal town of Perpignan, from there we crossed the old border of France and Spain and hugged the coast of Southern Spain finishing in Malaga.

Chris & Gabs Southeast Asia Cycling Adventure – 5000km Tour – March 2016
Route: Thailand – Cambodia – Laos – Vietnam – Burma
Fundraising for a local charity.
We started this tour from Bangkok Thailand, and cycled through the whole of Cambodia following the Mekong River, then through Laos, Vietnam, Northern Thailand then Burma and finally finishing back in Bangkok.

The Windmill 200 Challenge – 200 mile Coast to Coast in a day. 4th July 2015.
Fundraising for the charity – Blackpool Windmill Youth Group
After the huge success of the Wheelers for Watamu C2C, we decided to do it again, but this time 200 miles in one day! This time there was a team of 15, many from W4W, we raised funding for the charity The Blackpool Windmill Youth Group, they were also our support drivers on both the W4W and The Windmill 200.
On one of the photos below you will see a lady and gentleman with Windmill 200 T shirts on (the photo with the 2 dogs) the gentleman to the right is our dear friend Stuart Sykes, he is also the founder and chairman of the Windmill Youth group, the lady to the left was also part of the Windmill Youth Group, Patricia Appleton was also our dear friend, but we sadly lost her to Cancer back in august 2017, she was an amazing women.

Wheelers For Watamu – 150 mile Coast to Coast in a day. 14th June 2014.
Fundraising for the charity – The Happy House in Kenya
The Happy House
This was a team of 20 cyclists that trained together and then cycled 150 miles in one day from Blackpool to Whitby, finishing in Robin Hoods Bay. Between us all we raised funds for the Happy House in Watamu Kenya, the Happy House is a children’s Orphanage, after the cycling event we went out to Kenya and volunteered at the Orpahange.
