Today we cycled through a great little town called Silivri, some of the locals invited us in to their dessert restaurant for lunch, we’ve never had anything quite like it, it was delicious! and great cycling fuel too. The interest we are getting here in Turkey is somewhat unbelievable, cars pulling over in the street, people running across the road, and all to welcome you into their Country, we even had a free lunch today! We are looking forward to the next 3 months discovering the Turkish Delights, we’ve ended the day camped up in a field just outside a place called Buyukcekmece, which is only 40km to Istanbul, so that’s where we will be from tomorrow for the next few days. We will have a busy few days promoting our charity ‘Prevent Breast Cancer’ as we are appearing on the Istanbul News Channel and several Radio stations.
