We are slowly making a reverse loop of Taiwan, we started on the West Coast in Taichung City, then headed East through the centre of the island across the mountains of the Taroko National Park, via Sun Moon Lake. Camping is very easy in Taiwan and all the roads accommodate bicycles, in fact the whole island is full of bicycles, after all they make so many of them here!
We are now making our way up the North East coast of Taiwan, and today weโve finally reached Fulong Beach. Tomorrow we will be having a days rest before heading to Taiwanโs capital โTaipeiโ
So far weโve been totally blown away with Taiwan, from the hustle and bustle of city life, the stunning lush green mountains and waterfalls, to the truly amazing people, the Taiwanese are so friendly, this island really is a hidden gem.
