We are now only a couple of days away from Saigon! so we will soon have cycled the whole length of Vietnam from China down to the South Island of Phu Quoc, after Saigon we will be staying on the Island throughout the Tet holidays here, which is the Chinese New Year 🥳 from there we will cycle to our 26th country Cambodia, we can’t wait to be back!
The last few days cycling the coast of Vietnam have been amazing, shame about all the rubbish, but still a stunning route, it’s been quite a tough going, as most of the roads go high up over the mountains and are extremely steep, with some of the passes having elevations of 15%! it’s also getting hotter each day, so when cycling slow up the long winding mountain passes it can be unbearable at times, and it’s also starting to get much hotter in the tent at night.
But today we rest, and there will be no tent, just a beach resort! 😎
