The Fishing Baskets of Phi Phi Island

In this short film you’ll see how fishing baskets are made here on Phi Phi Island by the locals, we then take them out on long tail boats and drop them into the ocean, and also collect the ones that have been sitting on the seabed for 10 days, we then divide the catch between the families in the village, they rely on these baskets to feed themselves, as there is no work on the Island, therefore they have no money, due to the Covid situation, this is a tough life just to get your daily meal.
