Well that was a super tough training day today, just over 30km running through the jungle, hot and humid is an understatement, and then came another big storm which washed us down the mountain.
The highlight of today was seeing how impressed Gabriella was when she saw pineapples growing on the ground! 😊🍍
We ran up and down the mountains through the dense jungle, at times running through rubber tree forests, the thing to watch out for when running through the jungle is all the mosquitoes, snakes and spiders, also check out the giant goat! they are pretty rare in these parts.
I also forgot how much pain the human body is able to endure, I think my legs will be broken tomorrow, as for Gabs, she’s still talking about pineapples 🤣 🏃♂️🏃♀️🌴🍍🦟🐍🕷 ⛈ ☀️ 🥵🐮🐐
