A couple of months ago we had a big thunder storm on Phi Phi Island here in Thailand, which resulted in our friend Somdech’s longtail boat being hit by lightening, which sadly destroyed half of his boat. A longtail boat in Thailand is peoples livelihood, so this meant that Somdech was no longer able to go and catch fish for his family and the locals in the small village on Phi Phi Island.
We decided to put all of our efforts into helping Somdech and his family rebuild their boat, so began immediately with a fundraising campaign.
The fast response with peoples generosity around the world has been truly unbelievable, and as you will see from this short film, Somdech is now back in his longtail boat fishing for his family and the village people on the Island, and this is all thanks to all the people that have helped to make this possible.
Myself and Gabs, and on behalf of Somdech and his family, would like to thank everyone that has helped us to achieve the completion of this project, you have made a family of 30 people and many other families who rely on Somdech to catch fish for them very happy.
Somdech would like to say เธเธญเธเธเธธเธเธกเธฒเธเธชเธณเธซเธฃเธฑเธเธเธฒเธฃเนเธเนเธเธเธฑเธเธเธงเธฒเธกเธชเธธเธ Kฬhxbkhuแน mฤk sฬแบฃhฬrแบกb kฤr bรฆฬngpแบกn khwฤm sฬukฬh thank you for sharing your happiness ๐ ๐
