3 years ago today, we had just completed our UK stage of our World Cycling Tour, where we met with the Mayor in every village, town and city that we cycled through, to promote the much needed awareness and and funding for our charity Prevent Breast Cancer
So weโve been on the road now, for just over 3 years, and we are still going strong, weโve cycled across 30 countries and 2 continents, and travelled almost 60,000 km, we have no plans of ever stopping our journey whatsoever.
We cycled from the Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester, England, which is home to our charity Prevent Breast Cancer, and made it all the way to Thailand, where unfortunately the Covid Pandemic stopped us in our tracks from going any further, due to the land borders being closed, and they still are to this day, so we left Thailand after 7 months lockdown and travelled all the way back to Italy and Spain, and then finally back to Georgia, where weโve been travelling around for the last 2 months.
Our plan is to revisit the surrounding countries, which is another tour in itself, this will see us back in, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Mongolia, where we will be making many films, after that we hope we can continue on our previous route from Thailand, heading to India and Nepal, which will complete our 3rd Continent.
Weโll leave you with a short film from the UK leg of our tour from 3 years ago, Best of Meet The Mayors
Hope you enjoy the film, we made this 3 years ago, whilst learning how to edit on the road from our tent, so I like to think that our film quality has improved since then! ๐
