Today we are taking Frank to get cleaned up at the vet.
Frank is a wild Georgian Mountain Sheepdog, this breed don’t have ear flaps, as they protect cattle from wolves and other predators, so they are bred to blend in with the sheep, also having no ear flaps prevents injury when fighting with predators.
Unfortunately Franks right ear lobe has been ripped open and is badly infected, so we are taking him to a vet in Telavi for a clean up and shot of antibiotics, and of course a big meal before returning him to the mountains.
