FRANK UPDATE:
Franks ear was much worse than expected, so he had to be anaesthetised, so that the vet could thoroughly clean and treat his ear, whilst he was sleeping we could also cut away all the tar and embedded rocks from his fur, he was then given a strong injection of antibiotics which will stay in his system for 3 days to stop the infection.
So 2 hours later and Frank is back in the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia, but he’s taking it easy tonight, he had a huge bowl of biscuits and some water, and he’s now having the best nights sleep in a long time, and pain free!
In a few days we will go back and find him, and take him back to the vet for a check up.
