Back on the Abano Pass !

We are back trekking in one of our favorite places in Georgia, the Abano Pass.
October is our favorite month here, as it’s autumn, but more so because it’s the migration time, when the shepherds walk all their cattle down from high up in the Tusheti Mountains.
We are currently following the river bed whilst the water is low, it’s also a safer route as we avoid many of the sheep dogs, which will often attack!
