It’s been a while.. !

Happy Day’s! 😊

Once upon a time, we lived in a sleepy village of England in a very old rural Hamlet Cottage.

We spent a year fully renovating the house and bought lots of lovely new furniture and all the other material objects you have in a house.

Sadly, just as we finished, Gabriella was diagnosed with Cancer, so we locked the door and spent the next year and half at the Christie Hospital in Manchester, surgery after surgery, chemotherapy, more surgery.. it was another one of life’s adventures to say the least!

5 days after Gabriella had finished her Cancer Treatments, we set off cycling from the Hospital on our World Cycling Tour, we cycled from England all the way to Thailand. 6 years later and we’ve never stopped, or returned to the UK..until today!

Yes last week Gabriella flew back to the UK for a short visit, to get rid of all those things we bought and has been in storage ever since, everything we own, our lifetime possessions, albeit just material objects that we’ve never missed for 6 years, we certainly won’t be needing them where we are going!

So today, she’s at it again! we have donated everything to a fantastic Children’s Charity called Donnas Dream House, everything will be put to such great use.
Our belongings will be used to fit out one of the charities new houses to accommodate the poorly children.

The Donna’s Dream House Charity provides free holiday experiences for children and teenagers with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Whilst the voluntary team of Donna’s Dream House provides the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money, that makes it possible to bring not only sunshine and fun into children’s lives, but a sense of wonder, adventure, laughter and a much-needed holiday in Blackpool for the whole family.
